National Day of Racial Healing

The annual National Day of Racial Healing takes place on the Tuesday following MLK Day each year.

This year, we are taking action at the Huntington Beach City Council Meeting on 1/16/24, where the Council voted 4-3 to discontinue Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage, Women’s Heritage, Pride, and other heritage events. Our goal is to make public comments that educate the council on The National Day of Racial Healing, and demand the reinstatement of the city’s observance of Black History Month.

Everything we do this year is for culture, for community.
